The first Maker Music Festival is coming to Sebastopol, CA on Saturday, October 13th.

The festival is a celebration of DIY music and instrument makers, both traditional and experimental. It will be a day of unique performances, project exhibits, hands-on activities and informative presentations.  You can listen to great music, chat with makers and artists, learn how instruments are made and even make one of your own.

Along with the fun musical happenings, there will be great food and drink for purchase as well: chicken, mushroom, and sweet hand pies, and a bar including water and sangria. Cash and card both accepted.

The proceeds from the festival will help Chimera Arts develop new outreach programs for youth and underserved communities. A special day-of membership promotion also gets new members a one month rebate!

It’s all happening at Chimera Arts in downtown Sebastopol, located at 6791 Sebastopol Avenue.

The festivities will run from 11AM to 6PM:

  • 12:00-12:30pm : Tobias Roberson (Play Marimba)
